As I mentioned above, the Eiffel Tower is the tallest monument in Paris, which means you can see the Eiffel Tower from many spots in Paris.
The Eiffel Tower can be visible all around Paris from 60km to 80km if the air quality is good and the sky is clear, so you can see it from the dome of the Sacré Coeur Basilica or Belleville Park.
Sadly, the air quality is often poor in Paris, so on some days when the weather is bad, you can only see half of the Tower.
It’s a strange view when you only see the Tower’s lower part!
There are a lot of places in Paris where you can get gorgeous shots of the Eiffel Tower, and here they are:

Best Streets To Take Photos Of The Eiffel Tower
There are plenty of spots around the Eiffel Tower, but the streets around it are the best if you’re looking for an excellent place to take photos.
Champs de Mars

Champs de Mars is a great spot to picnic and enjoy the scenery, with the Eiffel Tower in the background in the spring and summer of Paris.
Parvis Du Trocadéro

Note: Due to construction, there are very unpleasant-looking panels on the Parvis; however, you can still find nice spots, such as the staircase below, where you can still get photos of the Eiffel Tower and yourself like you probably often see on Instagram!
I still have yet to do that myself!
Avenue Rapp & Square Rapp

You can also find another iconic Instagram photo spot on Avenue Rapp, a beautiful door.
There are plenty of inserting angles and streets. You can shoot the Eiffel Tower on this avenue. From cute Parisian cafes to flower shops, you’ll find the best places to take photos of the Eiffel Tower on Avenue Rapp!
There are also quite a few good cafés and restaurants there if you’re looking for a spot to eat or to enjoy a drink on the terrace like the locals.

Square Rapp is an adorable square where you can get another angle from the Eiffel Tower.
However, please note that the court is private property, and as people didn’t respect the inhabitant’s privacy, entering it is no longer permitted; you can still shoot from the street, though!
Rue Saint Dominique

Right after Avenue Rapp, you’ll find Rue Saint Dominique, another good spot to photograph the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Cafe Du Recrutement

Located at the end of Rue Saint Dominique, “Café du Recrutement” is a very famous Instagram photo spot for the Eiffel Tower; you can get a beautiful shot of the tower with this quaint red café in the picture.
This is, without a doubt, a very “Parisian vibe” shot. If that’s your goal, you should hit this spot!
Avenue Camoens

If you’re on Instagram, you have most likely seen this point of view of the Eiffel Tower before; it is, after all, one of the most famous spots to take photos of the Eiffel Tower, and rightfully so, as this avenue, the staircases, and the architecture are magnificent.
Because this spot is famous, it gets bustling quickly, so it is better to get there early in the morning if you’d like the place to yourself or at least less crowded so you can shoot more freely.
Rue de l’Université & Rue Buenos-Aires

Rue de l’Université is another of the most famous Instagram spots where you can take photos of the Eiffel Tower.
Therefore, it is always crowded. If you want to get a shot of yourself there, you need to make sure to get there first thing in the morning; otherwise, just like “Avenue Camoens,” this spot gets super crowded.
Most people go here, but if you go to Rue Buenos Aires on the other side, you’ll get the same view with fewer people!
Rue Monttessuy

Another street around the Eiffel Tower has more modern-looking buildings where you can take beautiful photos of the Eiffel Tower. It’s hard to find a street that doesn’t make a great spot for pictures of the Eiffel Tower.
Avenue De New-York

Avenue de New York is a walkable path to stroll along the Seine and view the Eiffel Tower.
It makes the perfect place to walk up to Alexandre III Bridge, for example, and is another of the best places to take photos of the Eiffel Tower.
There are many excellent spots to take photos of the Eiffel Tower. The bank of the Seine is also accessible from various points, making great photo spots.
Jardin Des Tuileries & Place de la Concorde

Place de la Concorde and the Jardin des Tuileries are located close to each other and are both amazing spots to take photos of the Eiffel Tower, which has a beautiful Parisian atmosphere.
You can get some stunning shots directly from Place de la Concorde, with its beautiful fountains (which were renovated in 2024!) and superb obelisk; it’s also a fantastic place to view the Eiffel Tower!
The Jardin des Tuileries is also a fantastic place to visit on a sunny day. From there, you can find plenty of viewpoints on the higher parts to get a shot of the Eiffel Tower, like the one above!
Also, did you know the Eiffel Tower is a great spot to see cherry blossoms in Paris?
You can find some beautiful cherry blossoms at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower and on the way up to Trocadéro. If you’re visiting in Spring, you’ll have some stunning photos of the Eiffel Tower and the cherry blossoms.

Best Bridges To Take Photos Of The Eiffel Tower
If you want to take photos of the Eiffel Tower by the water, you should consider the bridges in Paris; you can see the Eiffel Tower from all of them!
Of course, the view from some bridges is better, and some bridges are more beautiful than others. So I compiled the best bridges to take photos of the Eiffel Tower. There are also lovely places to stroll if you want free things to do or romantic things to do in Paris.
Strolling and looking at the Eiffel Tower during the sunset sounds romantic, right?
Passerelle Debilly

The Debilly Footbridge is very close to the Eiffel Tower. You can take beautiful photos on and off of it!
It is also less crowded than the famous bridges, where people usually take photos of the Eiffel Tower.
Iena Bridge

The main bridge in front of the Eiffel Tower is the perfect spot to take photos of the Eiffel Tower!
It is a very popular location to shoot the Eiffel Tower at night when it sparkles.
You can get plenty of fun angles or use the street; however, if you shoot directly from the road, be careful about the traffic, as this area is quite chaotic.
Bir Hakeim Bridge

A famous bridge near the Eiffel Tower is also a filming location for the movie “Inception”.
This bridge has fascinating architecture as the Metro passes on top of it; it’s the perfect spot if you love lines and parallel; it is lovely to work on some photo ideas.
The “La France Renaissance” statue is next to it, another spot to take photos of the Eiffel Tower.
It’s not rare to find newlyweds from around the world doing Eiffel Tower photoshoots around this area or Trocadero.
Eiffel Tower from Alexandre III Bridge

Easily one of Paris’s most beautiful bridges you can see in Paris, as well as famous Paris Landmarks. The Alexandre III Bridge offers a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, and the beautiful golden ornament of the bridge makes the view even more attractive.
Of course, the bridge is already stunning and a great place to take photos in Paris, but add the Eiffel Tower in the background, and now you have a perfect snapshot of Paris!
It’s a bit of a walk from the Eiffel Tower but worth it and enjoyable when the weather is nice in Paris.
Checking out all of those bridges for the best views of the Eiffel Tower makes a fantastic walking tour on the bank of the river Seine; it’s a great way to spend a sunny day in Paris.
Another unique way to get the best photos of the Eiffel Tower is to take a cruise and enjoy some beautiful views.
And that’s a wrap on this list of the best places to take photos of the Eiffel Tower in Paris! When you visit Paris, you will know all the best spots to take incredible pictures of Paris that will make great memories, or you can take lovely photos for Instagram.
All those places I talked about are the best spots for Eiffel Tower photos, and I will update this post frequently whenever I find new locations to take photos of the Eiffel Tower!
You can buy a ticket for a guided visit inside the Eiffel Tower. Otherwise, you can get a regular ticket on the Eiffel Tower website (you can also check the live waiting to see how busy it is) or directly at the entrance of the Eiffel Tower.
