Last week-end I visited the historic of Bath located in the South West of England and is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre
I did not visit the Roman Baths or went to the Spa, so I will have to come back.
One more year is coming to an end, and -as every single year- I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. 2017 has it fair share of ups and downs for me as for everyone.
However I still had the chance to do my fair share of travels. Looking back at it, it could be defined by one country-> England AKA the country I visited the most.
Despite this I still managed to visit some new places, and add a new country to my travel list.
My plans changed quite a lot during my last week-end in Bristol as I was starting to feel very poorly so instead of going to Oxford I went to Wells with a friend from my class to see the cathedral.
As you may already know if you checked one of my last blog post ( -> 25 Places To Visit Before 25) it was my 24th birthday last saturday. For the occasion I went on a day trip to Bath with one of my classmate !
So now, I already been to Bath back in May (read here) and to be honest this city is my absolute crush of the year.
Last time I didn’t get the chance to visit the roman bath, but this time I did it !
For the first week end of July my friends and I went to Honfleur, in the North of France in Normandy. You probably never heard of it because neither have I before it was brought up to me to be honest. The initial plan was to go do Deauville -which I’d say is more famous at least if you’re French or familiar with our locations- BUT Deauville was more expensive. So as broke students we opted for the cheaper yet still nice option.
And honestly Honfleur was much more pleasant than I expected it to be, so let me walk you through my 48 hours in Honfleur !
Quite a lot happened lately, mostly good news ! The most important news of them all is the fact that I got accepted for an Erasmus Exchange in Kent, England instead of Ireland as I thought I would first. Still really happy though ! Definitely will be an awesome experience.
Hiking Mt Takao was by far one of my favourite activity/place to visit close to Tokyo, but you already know this If you read my Wanderlust, Wednesday post about Tokyo ! So I had to write this blog post to share more about this awesome spot ! Honestly I think it was such a great activity and so different than what you can usually found out in Tokyo when you’re looking out for activity.
So now let’s see what’s hiking Mt Takao like !
